I want to encourage you to have a personal connection with God. Deepen your relationship with God. worship, talk to God and reflect on his word. There is so much power and wisdom in his words.


Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

1 Peter 5:7

Comfort

God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others.

When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. 

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

The lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. 

Psalm 34:18

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.

Psalm 147:3

Jesus Wept.

John 11:35

Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.

Romans 12:15

God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Matthew 5:4

Forgive

When you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins too.

Mark 11:25

Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

Ephesians 4:32

Fear not

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

Deal with anger

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow get angry.

Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires.

James 1:19-20

Let go of control

Letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.

Romans 8:6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and do not depend on your own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.

His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ.
